About
I grew up around British ceramics, regularly visting various antique fairs with my parents and even had my first time on a pottery wheel before I was 10. But it wasn’t until 2024 that I really got personally passionate about pottery.
It all started with a four week class that I signed up to after quitting a job that had become incredibly stressful. I went to the class with the aim of making my first ever coffee cups to show off my latte art efforts. While I may not have been entirely successful in those first few weeks, I found a passion for working with clay and quickly signed up to regular weekly sessions and eventually joined my local community pottery studio.
My work is focused on the simple moments of every day life, whether it’s making that first coffee of the morning, enjoying an afternoon treat between meetings, or a catchup with friends over a cup of tea, I want the ceramics I make to celebrate and enhance those moments.
